I've done this. Geico, Progressive, Farmers, State Farm. They ask who your current insurer is, which in my case is Allstate Indemnity. Without hesitation they state that they can not match it. But its time to try again. They have both my houses and three cars. I havent tried shopping a package deal yet. But as a customer of Allstate for almost 18 years, the hard part of going to a new insurer is trusting them. They could give me great coverages for a great rate, then when it is time to renew I'm afraid they will pull the "there was a small oversight in your original package and we are going to have make an adjustment to your rates". At least I know what kind of vasiline my current insurer uses.

Ok, so I expected it to be a little higher and I'll talk to my agent about getting a better rate but I'm curious what some of you folks are getting yours for if you don't mind posting it. I figured I could at least get full coverage for around $850.00 or is that wishful thinking on my part?
I'm not sure of the breakdown, but I pay $900 for 6 months for full coverage on my Dodge and my wifes Jeep Grand Cherokee. $500 deductible.

I am paying roughly $1200/year for full coverage through State Farm at age 23... no accidents, only one ticket that happened 5 years ago (which is probably off the record by now).

My 2001 was great though, $800 a year.

State Farm was BY FAR the cheapest I found. Some places quoted me as high as $2500!

full coverage insurance

insurance costs are nuts! beings i sell commercial insurance in california. the cost can go up or down by your zip code alone. ( and they go by garaging zip code. ) the cost of replacing your old truck to your new truck! it cost you more to buy your diesel over yoru old ford 150 so they want more.

my best advice for you ! be loyal to one broker till they stop working for you! you pay there bills! shop around on them. and say hey i have a quote from ( insert different company here ) can you meet it or beat it ? i get this all the time from truck drivers, and thats what i have to do to keep them happy or say well im sorry i cant beat it, and i understand if you leave! thanks your biz..
