It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Reading some of these posts makes me wonder if some of you guys ever grew up. Yeah, yeah, I know, boyz will be boyz and all that happens is that your toyz just get more expensive. Unless you still resort to shopping cart tricks?
Not 20 minutes ago my wife was growling at me because I was teaching my 2 year old grand son "bad" things. How come wives do not understand that the purpose of uncles and grandfathers are to teach the grandkids the fun things in life?

I've had a few exploits in K-Mart when I was younger. Set all the alarm clocks to go off in 5 minute intervals once. That was fun to watch! Shot an arrow into a ceiling tile in the sporting goods department. They didn't like that at ALL!
Evening all.

All the ways to play golf mentioned and no one brings up Red Neck Skeet? There is a good video of a guy jumping out with a shotgun on the driving range. Wish i knew how to post it. Give it a search.

HOT DOGGIES!!!!
Just got another quick note from Seattle. I posted the results in the prayer section. My kids are going home. I can hardly see my computer screen - - just a big baby, I know. This has been a long ordeal and I can see some daylight at the end of the tunnel. Still 1-1/2 year schedule to keep, but the worst part is over. Wow, am I relieved.
Thank you again for all your concern, prayers and support. It is not completely over, but the I think the worst is behind us. God is good.

I know what you mean I got in trouble for teaching a 2 yr old how to spit and throw rocks....what she didn't understand is this is important stuff a boy needs to know
#96
You wouldn't want to do that around here because 75% of the guys on the course would start shooting back

Would you feel better if we let you wear the Hall Monitor vest again so you can write us up for running in the halls?

Nope. Never wore a Hall Monitor vest. Where I grew up we had prefects and I was more likely to be one of the guys that was written up.
I will go and tell my wife that Lary said that it was important for me to teach the younger generation things like spitting and throwing rocks. I know that this will make things better and that now she will understand.

I don't care if you are in the habit of lying to your wife but don't include me in it because I didn't say it was important for you to teach anything to anyone.

Evening DTR, not a bad day at work. Dragon is still peeing ice cubes.
Bad accident here today on I-94 in Michigan City IN, news was reporting 15 semis and 15 car/trucks in the pile up with 3 fatalities. From the pictures it looks very bad and rescue crews are going to be working into the night to clear the accident. Keep those involved and the rescue crews in your prayers tonight.

On my local radio, they said it was a white out due to lake effect snow that was major factor in the accident happening. My aunt lives no far from that accident and she said they had over 12 inches of snow fall today.

One of the guys that works at the Hospital where my wife works said he was on the way home and he got into a whiteout that was suddenly so heavy it was black, he couldn't see anything.
He was on the interstate and slowed down and tried to get off the side of the road not knowing for sure where he was but he managed to find the gravel shoulder.
He said he sat there for about a 20 seconds when a semi blew past him sideways, jack knifed and luckily no one was hurt.
These are some bad storms and I fear this is only the beginning of what we will see in the future.

Ohh, just remembered the Smothers Brothers "Mom Always Liked You Best" routine.
Bob, that is great.
Teaching them to properly fire a rubber band may save his family's life some day.
Wow, there are a lot of videos of people shooting golf ***** out there.
Made it to town and back.
Took an hour more than normal but found some 25-31 shrimp for $5 bucks a pound (very good price for here).
Guess what's for dinner!?. Sigh,,, No Scott, not hot dogs, try again.

Not a baby at all Bob. The effect is the same here for me. Okay, maybe we're BOTH big babies, but I don't think so. I'd bet there will be more than just you and me having trouble seeing the screen when they read the news! I can't tell you how this whole ordeal has affected me. Maybe I'm just too emotional, (Scott the Emo?) I don't know why this has had the effect that it has on me; it's not MY family, heck, I've never even met these people and I've only met you and Mrs 5ver once, but it has made me stop in the middle of the day and wonder how she was doing, or how mom and dad were doing, or how YOU were doing. I'm not an overly religious person, but I've found myself talking to God more than I ever have. And I'll continue that, but more in the form of thanks instead of a request. What great news!
I agree! My cousin wasn't impressed when I taught his 8 year old the finer points of chewin' tobacco tho. Don't understand it.
That would only work for the people IN the whiteout. Eventually, there would be traffic back in the clear who'd be truckin' along at 70mph and all of a sudden there would be stopped traffic in front of them for no obvious reason. The result would be the same pile up, just a few miles sooner. Now if people actually paid attention, that might be a different story.
What makes you think I'd say 'hot dogs'? You just told us you bought shrimp. 'Hot dogs' doesn't even make sense! Jeez, gimme a little credit! I think I can figure out what you were having for supper, it ain't that complicated. You had peanut butter and jelly, didn'tya?
Another cold morning at 7 below and a steady 15mph wind. Gonna get a blizzard here later this morning lasting into tomorrow. Yay. I've altered the toilet seat to make it a bit more comfortable for you less-than-hardy people whose tushi's get cold easily. (You're welcome Lary!)

The proper office of a friend is to side with you when you are in the wrong. Nearly anybody will side with you when you are in the right.
C0ffee & ph00 are ready. Yesterday's donuts are still here... you don't get new ones until you finish what's already here! (there are kids in China that would love to have those donuts!)

No, do not lie to my wife. OK, will keep you out of this. Happy now?
Had a great day yesterday. One of the things that made it so great was the news from Bob about Ianna and family. As Scott said, I have not met any any of them, but to have prayed for that situation and now hearing that our prayers are being answered makes for a great day and just affirms once again that prayer DOES work, particularly intercessionary prayer. Again and again in my life I have seen this work and every time it works, just makes me pray harder in the next situation.
Another thing that made for a great day was the weather. It was fantastic. My stepson and his fiancee left to go to Houston yesterday and they will be in for a shock once they hit the lousy weather there. I see that many of you are still being clobbered by old man winter. Will he ever quit? Was just reading about that pileup on the I-94. That is a bad one.
Y'all have a good one. Off to find a hot drink. Will pass on the breakroom offerings this morning.
