Evening DTR, the cold temps set in today. Looks like the warmest in the next week will be in the 20's, gonna have a lot of teens and single digit temps. Had to restart the fire in the dragon tonight, found him outside the Janitors closet peeing ice cubes again!

It happens even without cruise control. Two years ago I finally put a muffler on the old Subaru. Had to relearn driving it.
I would wind up going up a hill in fifth and not being able to hear the engine and no tach I might notice the speedo says 60 and I know I am only doing 40.

Always wondered why the ice cubes were all different sizes.

Who said anything about cruise control? I never use it in the car and only occasionally in the big truck. I just don't feel 'in control' when using it.

Morning all.

Still cold here, still snowing, still chewing thru wood. I actually don't mind having to get up early and staying up late to feed the beast, but the extreme cold is getting old.

Today's thought:
It takes less time to do a thing right, than it does to explain why you did it wrong.

C0ffee, ph00 and donuts with sprinklies are ready.

Just heard the weather... 10 to 20 below tomorrow with heavy snow and blizzard conditions thru Saturday.

Awwwwww, how sweet. OOOOOOXXXXXXXXX sniff-sniff. Like Bob said, I just do what I can.

Boy, you guys up north sure are getting clobbered, getting clobbered, getting clobbered. If this keeps up y'all are going to have an Alaskan summer and by the time next winter hits, you will just be finishing shoveling. On the other end of the scale, we had a great day here yesterday. Was out in shorts and driving with the A/C on. Looks it it is going to be even better today. Was looking at the blue on the monitor screen as it warmed up and realized that it was about the same colour as our sky. I like that.

Presently enjoying my morning hot drink and getting ready to start my day. I declare that this will be a great day! May all of you have a great day too, even if it is from the top of what you shoveled. Oops, that has a double meaning, but you choose which one you are going to use today.

Decided to add something for some of you to drool over:

Today
Clear, abundant sunshine. High 25C. Winds W at 10 to 15 kmh.

Hey, I see one of them in the tree in that picture - - - I think - - uhhh, well, maybe not - - looks more like a frozen canary.

Probably more like your LEGGS snapped than the camera - - frozen stiff. ..............

Sure glad you jumped back down off that hill - no telling what was under your feet around here............................................

Morning gang - - hey, it is downright nippy outside this morning. 42 in the lanai and frost on the grass in the back. brrrr. Scott, sounds horrible up your way. No thanks. Stay warm and safe.

I am grabbing my ph00 and go do something constructive (- - wow, what could that be????)..................................oh yeh, gotta go across the street (again) and help my little 83yo neighbor load her new copy of Norton 360. She is a riot on that computer - - goes crazy with the mouse and clicks on everything in sight and ends up with a bunch of stuff she doesn't want. About once every two weeks I have to go clean it up and get it up and running again.
