I have an 04 GMC Yukon xl 3/4 ton 2wd. I have been noticing a rattle under the left front, sounds like a brake caliper rattle. I have checked everything I can think of and I still can't tell where it is coming from. I have replaced both front shocks and the steering stablizer. I was wondering if you might think it is a upper or lower ball joint? They "look" fine and they don't seem to have any play in them, any advice you might have would be appreciated, thanks

Did you jack the front end up and use a large prybar to check for up and down movement?

Check the upper control arm bushings while you have it jacked up.
