Just got in from work......I'm tired. 3 hrs of sleep since Monday....nope, no good. I'm off to bed for another 3-4 hr nap before class. Only bright side to all this is that my work week is officially done.....until Saturday morning and I get to start all over again.

went for 'free lumber' to a place that was wetter than a waterfall. we took it cause we were there, woman had no way to remove and more of a courtesy. so pulling nails while hubby cuts it to length for the boiler. not much use otherwise. puts a damper on 'free' stuff for a while.

chaikwa, was gonna call you but why bother? kidding. just letting you know you were 'thought of'.
ads pop up sometimes, depending on type of ad. don't like the gender specific ads though.....banner ads are irritating. I should shop/search for ferraris- wonder what ad will pop up....(viagra?)

Mr Michigan! boy, we'd get along great! nope, went to high tech boiler, has about a cup of ash compared to the ol' Hardy stainless. wheelbarrows by the week....hubby said if we were homesteaders we'd be straightening them nails too....uh, no. 140 boards done, 20 ft ers or so. 8 pounds of nails.

hoed garden, saved precious pepper plants as much as I could. off to help second son and meet with some friends . hubby has a mountain bike/ carrier on his harley. like a swiss knife, he carries anything. it should be a youtube thing...

Weather is changing here, we´ve had some really nice and sunny days but now it´s getting cloudy, rain for the Next few days, not that we couldn´t use an inch or 2...

Evening all. Long hard day. Lots done but not enough. Now I am behind on my schedule to get out of here on Monday. Hopefully tomorrow will go faster. Counter tops and benches have tile set. Grout tomorrow and install some equipment. Still have to form and pour the pads and put pavers on them outside the lanai screen doors. Heard some thunder about 5'ish -= - black clouds rolling in. We packed up, covered up and friend hauled out for home. Wife came out just as I was ready to come in and said pack up quick for a storm coming. Oh my goodness - - about 15 minutes and the lightning started cracking all around, hail, then rain - - it rained literally so hard I could not see my neighbors house which is about 70 feet of so from me. Within 20 minutes the intersection 1/2 block away was under water - - rain gauge said 3" = = that is in 20 minutes. It was floating my new mulch out into the grass. Sure glad we packed up and covered up when we did.

OK, supper over - - me out of here to relax my aching back. Too much heavy work today. Bags of concrete mix, bags of grout mix, boxes of ceramic tile - - heavy heavy heavy. I hurt.

Me gone to recharge my batteries.

More thistle. I hate that stuff and wish it would all JUST DIE!!!!!!

Only hit about 85 here today. Had 100 yesterday when I left for pool. McCook had 108. GOt to the glass shop to have the passenger mirror put in the Amigo and they broke it. So they are getting me another one. What's another couple weeks, it's only been broken out for 2 years now.

Won my pool (billiards) match. Got put up against a rather shapely (but taken) blonde, she started out way better than me but once she got down to one or two ***** left on the table had enough trouble I could come back and win. Took us 10 minutes on the second rack to get the first ball pocketed. We both cheered over that one.

There's a couple younger guys on the team that that tactic (put them up against a good looking woman) works on. Being a little older and less foolish, I know to just step back and do my admiring while she's shooting, and not while I'm shooting.

Have you heard them live in the last ten years? I bet he could sing just as well as they do.

I have been everywhere it seems, all the cities sound like they could be capitals. I have not been to Detroit MI or Lincon nebraska. not seeing it in the future either....

had to actually make a drive gear for second 'son'. took longer to do the math, figure out ratios than to transfer onto special steel, plunge cut and hand file. my friend and I flipped the restaurant bill onto our hubbies; her son paid for everyone. mad at my hubby for letting him pay, guy does a lot for us. sigh, dinner was good- italian sausage tortilla with fixins. oh well, bike ride home was awesome!

rain forecast again, cleared out most of basement for a fund raiser/yard sale. got new items in barn to sell fer meself. I hate this type of stuff but , this is the last of it. very nice to see bare shelves/walls.
