What luck. Love that story chaikwa. I think Oregon law says that you have to do a walk around of your vehicle as well as check underneath it before reversing. Something preposterous like that.
As for the buddy with a Ninja, he must have wanted a new bike because we sport bike owners have an innate ability to sense danger to our bikes.
My story is unrelated, but I somehow accidentally performed a pit maneuver on a Bronco with my Subaru Legacy on the freeway doing 85mph. The crazy thing is that i hit the front end of his car with the rear end of mine. I did a 360 but kept in my lane and he went shooting off the highway into the safety cables.
I've also been known to hit those sneaky concrete poles that creep up on you while pulling out of a parking structure.

I think you guys need to take a few driving classes...
I have hit a tree on Christmas when I was 12 and another tree in my frontier when a buddy said "sure you can make it, I do it all the time in my full sized chevy"...."Oh, I push that small tree out of the way with my nerf bars... sorry"

Private property, no report, no ticket here, unless somebody was injured or fail to provide info, or it was intentional, of course Chaikwa wuld've got a night in the clink for malicious destruction of property.
