Fellow DTRoinians...need your help and prayers for my sister
My sister is in a very dangerous situation. She has a paraganglioma at the bifurcation of the rt carotid artery.
It has very rapid growth and is entwined into the nerves as well as the blood supply and its starting to restrict flow.
She sees the top neurosurgeon today as the first surgeon said its out of her league.
If they leave it, she will die or have a stroke, then die. They will operate and the risk of stroke is very high with how its meshed itself into everything. She could die from the surgery too. She is forty yrs old.
Its knocked all of us very hard.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I'm not the most religious man but I will pray my best for you and your family.
