yupper, Clayten- don't know where you are but she was at virginia city camel races Sept 8-12 with the fast draw gun association demonstration. there are maybe five types of fast draw. she was lethal in any event, the 'old men' cowboy shooters looked harmless but had the draw on you in a blink. faster than one 20 year old guy could try to clap.....great to see.
annie oakley fan here. they still cannot reproduce her shots, even with all the skilled shooters and fine gun smithing......wow.
'...took the firing pin out....." you just don't know women do ya top?
you LOOK wayward, and she will probably spit bullets at ya...

She's shooting blanks at close enough range that they will pop the ballon from the air balast. her score stands if the ballon breaks because it means she got close. A) check the height of her loads in the plastic box. B) she's in a metal building with a sheet of osb for a backstop.
The proof is in the pudding though, she does get it into action pretty quick but on the final slo mo she shoots wide right and a spark takes out the balloon for a legal score.
Bet she can't beat Bob Munden with live ammo...

There was a History Channel show on Fast Draw awhile back.
They stated the competitors were using wax bullets to compete.
Not sure about this one.
If she leaned back juuust a little more, she could fire out the bottom of the holster and never have to "clear leather"
Her Chiropractor must LOVE that shooting style...........

That too! No really I think its great she's that good you just need to put whats actually happening into perspective.
My contest rules would be live ammo, lifesize target, scored hits/misses and time, hands off gun to start. Standard equipment: no flapjack hammer extensions, lingerie holsters, etc.
