Electric Fuel Pump ???
I need to test the out-put pressure of two electric fuel-pumps.
Can I bench-test them by getting them primed with fuel, then test their out-put pressure on a closed-end line that includes a gauge-fitting??(meaning that the fuel can go nowhere)
I mean to cycle fuel through the pump, until the lines and pump contain fuel, then connect a gauge to the end of the down-stream hose, and put power to the pump.
Thanks.

Are they internally regulated (like a Holley Blue or a pulse pump) or unregulated (like a Walbro 392)? The internally regulated pump will do just fine, but the unregulated pump will give you an artificially high pressure reading because there is no flow.

I don't know.
Thanks.

On the output of the pump, put a valve than return the fuel back to the container. Tee the gauge in between the output and the valve. Start closing the valve if the pump almost stalls its unregulated.

Will do.
Thank you.
