Dunkin Donuts Coffee

Addictive? You betcha.

Confession; Im a coffee nut.

It has been 2 months since I broke the addiction of coffee. It was easy. I just cold turkey quit. I had the splitting headaches and a few other side effects from not getting a daily fix. But I quit an started drinking decaf. Last night before bed I realized we were out of decaf and all we had was Dunkin Donuts regular, caffeine loaded up coffee.

DD coffee is my favorite and I have tried em all from cheap stuff to the highest of high dollar and I always come back to Dunkin. Neddless to say, I had a few cups of the good stuff this AM. Bad move. I dont think I can go back to the decaf again. My butt would drag the ground, so to speak, if I drank decaf until at least 1 PM. This morning I perked right up and was ready to rock hours before.

My goose is cooked.

DD coffee is the best, Kinda hard to come by around here as there's only a couple of them in the area, but worth the drive. Far better than that overbrewed garbage that starbucks sells, you can't even think of drinking it for like half an hour after you buy it, and then it just tastes burnt. How does everyone take their coffee? I'm a black and bitter (nothing added) kinda guy.

About the only kind we drink.
The closest one isn't very close, so we buy it at Target, cheapest place to get it usually.

Buddy, you better believe that it is addicting...

I stay away from it as much as possible, but when I do get to drinking it, I get the stuff that will stand a spoon up. Stains a coffee cup in 2 days.

I can help ya out with that addiction, Don. It's called the madhat plan... if I catch you drinking coffee, I'll fatten your lips so bad you won't be able to touch a cup to them... how's that?

Just drink MY special stuff in the breakroom. It'll stop you from wanting any other kind!

Oh, and I'm working on a deal with a certain chain-store to carry my special 'Janitor's Blend', so you'll be able to have it at home!

Just remember to remove all the mop strings and hairs and it is close to coffee in the engine room of a navy Ship.

DD is one of the better major brands...

But down here in South Louisiana we have Community...

One cup of it and youll toss that precious Dunkin Donuts brew clean outa the window.

I known pipeliners to drag up a job and come home when the Community ran out and it couldnt be sent in....

I have a big bag of DD from costco for the mornings the boss is out of the office... he likes starbucks. Starbucks has a dirty smell to it like they forget to wash the beans before processing them.

Only a few more months until DD has the christmas blend, nothing beats that aroma filling the house when its cold outside.

I like the Kona coffee from Hawaii. Followed by The Best of the Ozarks, Ozark Mountain Blend. It's good stuff and the beans are cooked and ground in Springfield. It's 100% Arabica. And I take mine straight.

Folgers here........nothing special.......and nothing in it.
Wifey has bought other brands when they were on sale.
I keep going back to the Folgers.

12 cup pot every day, Wifey drinks one cup, I take the rest in my thermos.

Black & Hot.

We used community at my old job, I wasn't impressed, although anything is better than the Douwe Egberts junk that they brew at our hospital, it's the concentrated coffee that the machine automatically adds water to, absolutely horrid.
