I could not have put it any better way than that...

Finally went to see the Dukes of Hazzard movie .... NIIIICE!!!
I was in Norfolk attending a short school and decided that I better go check out the movie. I came out all pumped up and jumped into the '05 Mustang rental car (fire engine red with the rear wing and go-fast graphics) and proceeded to show off my best Duke style driving technique down the freeway. Might have impressed more people than me if the car had a hemi instead of a little 6 banger .
Still slid around the corners pretty good though.

I'm a HUGE fan of the 70's and early 80's era "car movies". For those who enjoyed Smokey 1 & 2 (3 just plain sucked), try hunting for the following movies:
Hot Rod: 1978, about a guy drag racing a ****** coupe with a Hemi. Awesome "car movie".
The ORIGINAL "Gone in 60 Seconds". Look for the DVD...it has a nice comentary about how it was made. Very swesome driving, all 100% real using 1, count it, ONE, Mustang to film the whole thing.
Yea, these movies are completely pointless and unrealistic...but tins of fun just for the automotive action scenes. The acting usually sucks, budget is usually very low, but great to sit in front of with your buddies and plenty of beer.
