Morning all.
Awright, everyone get up and start fixing those trucks that are broke. It's too nice of a day to spend it all under the hood, so GET GOIN'!
Today is Saturday, June 12th.
On this day in 1667 - The first human blood transfusion was administered by Dr. Jean Baptiste. He successfully transfused the blood of a sheep to a 15-year old boy. (Go ahead, have fun with this one Blake, Cincy, T-Rad, everyoneelse.)
1838 - The Iowa Territory was organized.
1900 - The Reichstag approved a second law that would allow the expansion of the German navy.
1918 - The first airplane bombing raid by an American unit occurred on World War I's Western Front in France.
1929 - Anne Frank was born in Germany. She wrote in her diary about growing up in occupied Amsterdam during World War II. She died in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in March 1945.
1944 - Chinese Communist leader Mao Tse-tung announced that he would support Nationalist leader Chiang Kai-shek in the war against Japan.
1981 - Major league baseball players began a 49 day strike. The issue was free-agent compensation.
1987 - U.S. President Reagan publicly challenged Mikhail Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall.
1990 - The parliament of the Russian Federation formally declared its sovereignty.
1991 - Russians went to the election polls and elected Boris N. Yeltsin as the president of their republic.
1992 - In a letter to the U.S. Senate, Russian Boris Yeltsin stated that in the early 1950's the Soviet Union had shot down nine U.S. planes and held 12 American survivors.
1994 - Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were murdered outside her home in Los Angeles. O.J. Simpson was later acquitted of the killings, but he was held liable in a civil suit.
's on. Tea and ph00 is on. Donuts are ready, willing and able.

I'd love to get a day off to do some vehicle maintenance.

I for one, wouldnt even bother em if say, I blew the head gasket, that would be my fault. If they can explain how the Smarty and deletes caused the water pump failure then Ill eat that too. Thing is, I dont have much more than today to hassle with em, but, may turn out to be a stand up dealer. We will see.
Im not even gonna make any sheepish remarks about the history lesson....
Ok yes I will

Morning gang - - got a decent nights sleep - - didn't wake up until 6 - - what a change even though the DW coughed all night (so she tells me - - guess I am getting hardened to the sound). Good bowl of oatmeal, now grab some coffee and see if I can finally get something done around here today.
Be good and have fun - - it's Saturday. Relax - - enjoy.

Can not believe how much rain we are getting in Cincy. Have way to much to do outside today, and don't feel like spending the day inside doing laundry and cleaning.

Blake, glad they warrantied the pump for you! Nice having a good dealership to go to.
Afternoon DTR, went to cabelas today to renew my fishing license and I ended up walking out with a Mosin-Nagant 91/30. All the number match on it too. They had them on sale for $99 and in VERY good shape! It came with all the tools, bayonet, pouches, and oil can. Got all the cosmoline off and gave it a good cleaning/oiling. I'll post some pictures later.

Ewe, that was bad.
Rats. Nobody in Kenai has the mechanical fuel pump I need. One coming from Anch wont be here until Tues. Guess no clams for me until next months tides. Oh well, better it died in the yard instead of on the beach.
And you only bought ONE. Shame on you.
