this summer when you open the door after the truck has been sitting in the sun, you will remember all the times you jumped in it all sweaty.
I got a buddy that runs a marathon or two per year, he leaves the top off his jeep in the summer to let it air out...

Evening DTR, went to the GF's tonight. She made BBQ's for dinner, they were pretty good darn good! We watched 24 tonight, gotta be my favorite show next to Dirty Jobs, Deadliest Catch, and Extreme Trains (that ones a surprise!) Not much else going on today, kinda slow uneventful day. I keep seeing things in the new and papers about a lack of jobs, layoffs, and all that stuff. I've noticed the last few days alot of companies in this area are starting to hire again. Hope that continues and people can still have jobs and not lose houses or cars and other possesions. A friend who is in management at one of the big steel mills by me said they are actually seeing it start to get busy now and should see alot more work come spring time. A couple local PD's and FD's are starting to take apps too. Still thinking of putting my app in for one just to see if it will go anywhere. Talked about doing it a while back but no depts were hiring then. Dunno if I'll actually put the app in, its just a thought in the back of my head for now. Gonna havea couple cold ones tonight and relax a little.

BBQ sounds good right about now. I say you put your app in just for the hell of it. Whats the worst thats gonna happen?
I love 24 too. I'm always a couple weeks behind.

Evening Josh. The BBQ's were good tonight, filled me right up. The GF said the same thing as you, put your app in it won't hurt to at least try. 24 was good tonight, heck its good every monday night. Been alot of action in it the last couple episodes. What kind of jeep do you have?

Hey, Matt... when you are watching extreme loco's, do you run around the house in a conductors hat and see if the OL can make you whistle?

Cool, always wanted a jeep. A good friend has a 80 CJ7, I helped him restore it a few yrs ago. It originall came with a straight 6 but he dropped in a 304 crate engine and kinda regrets it now. Said when he gets tired of it he's going to put a 4BT in it. My uncle has a 46 ******, still run and drives but it due for a restoration. I like the CJ5's and 7's alot but I'd settle for a wrangler from the late 90's or early 00's. Either one would make a fun toy.

LOL, no I don't do that. When she see that I have the remote she leaves the room because its usually something on the history channel, Discovery, or the Military Channel. Most of the time she calls me a nerd when I am watching the train show or anything on one of those channels lol!
