YEah the GF and I do try to vacation around Lake Michigan once in the summer or fall. Dunno if it'll happen this year because we are saving up money for our wedding a such bit We might make a 3 day weekend to the lake this year. I'd like to get up to the UP or the to upper part of lower MI. never been up to that part of the state. Would like to see that 2-8-2 sometime. Use to never be much of a steam fan but lately I've been appreciating it more and more.

Scotty, hope you get the arm fixed soon, i understand the PITA you are going through. I have a bum knee that has been "fixed" once and needs fixed again. You come though here again give me a call, I'll meet up with any DTR member that comes through my town. I'm gonna send you a PM with my number for whenever you pass through.

Evenin...

Up there scotty, I'm sorry that you're all busted up still... my heart goes out to ya. Wish there was something that I could do...

Janitor Scott, nice looking rig! How'd you like that new coffee the other day?

Howdy, gang. Ran and went to the gym today, had some good times with one of my fellow SSgt's, got a chance to mentor a young Cpl a little... good night all around. Everything except my OL does not feel good... I wish I was there to make her feel better and take care of the kids a little. *sigh* I would usually say it's a small price to pay to be the worlds finest, but I can't hang a price on this one...

Anyhow... enough gloom. I'm trying to hang in there for a little longer so I can talk to her for a few, then I'm hitting the rack... hard. I'm wore out!

See ya'll in my mornin...

Well, you probably have access to all the gear and technicians that could patch me up. Which runway or port can we do this at?

Hey Janitor of the Stars, that frame in the pix gave me another idea.

..........

That coffee has a hint of palomino in it.

The city here had an opportunity to get a 2-8-4 berkshire (pere marquette rr)for a static display for a new zoo in the 80's for free. They turned it down and it went to scrap. One of the only 2 left, one was just used for Polar Express.
The one we moved was already painted to look like Thomas but it sure does look like that one..

What do I have to do to get you trained, boy? You are not supposed to sit on the cup - - drink it. And I made that pot and it was great. So, buck up, baby. hee hee - - hey, sorry about that wait on the arm fix - - not fun. My shoulder is giving me a fit and I don't want to have to go thru that one again. Not fun at all.

Absolutey fabulous day here - - 76, sun, flowers, birds, alligators - - yeh, really. Nice 5'er in our little subdivision lake as I rode by on the bike this morning. He hangs out there once in a while trying to catch a lazy bird or a curious dog or cat.

Chaikwa - - great stuff you do with metal. Proud of you. Lousy maid but great on that stuff.

Grabbing another ph00 and get out of here - - lots to do. Working on the truck hitch.

Bob
