It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
No laptop and zero pictures coming. This trip is no big deal and have done it many times. Just a straight run almost due north thru a lot of fairly boring desert. Good roads, but mostly toll, the only bad part. Nuevo Laredo is probably the worst part of the drive, plus the border crossing.
I only need to be in Austin by Sunday afternoon, so instead of an extra long drive straight thru, will probably stop overnight in Laredo and pig out at a nice restaurant.

That was the toughest thing for me when I was in. After my dear John letter the Sarg was telling me it was for the best, it wouldnt have lasted anyway and all that stuff. Didnt believe him so it took me a long time (at least a week) until I moved on. When you are 18 that stuff seems like the end of the world.
