I worked 10 hours on Monday, most of it on a rake. I was too tired to get on here last night. I got 3 hours today before the rains hit again. I've got about a day and a half to go before the last house is done. I really need a good clearing and basement job.

Evening DTR... Morning Madhat. Rainy and 55 today, grass is starting to grow now. Gonna have to service my mower soon and get it ready for mowing this season. Gonna till up the garden soon as the big rains are over and get the veggies planted. I started out alot of the plants in the house 2 weeks ago. They are all little seedling right now but they sure did take off fast in the dirt/peat mix i planted them in.

Cooking dinner now. Josh you got me wanting mexican so tonight I making steak fajitas for the GF and I.
Sounds delicious.

I'm still at work. But I have a tri-tip in the crock pot.

sOUNDS GOOD

I prefer to venison fajitas.. but then again, with fajitas, you can use just about anything. got an extra squirrel in the freezer? a few dove breasts left over? it doesn't matter, just slice it thin and slap it in a hot skillet with some red, yellar, and green onions, green and red bell peppers, dice a few fresh jalapenos, and a splash salt, black and cayenne pepper.
btw, if you have a gas stove, put the burner on low and just ever so lightly toast the tortillas.

Seen that used for ball field maintenance. We were grading/fine tuning a "garden area" on the front of a house. We had to pull strings to establish the grade. The topsoil had to be one inch lower than the paving stones so we could add an inch of a special pea gravel and the final grade would be flush with the top of the pavers. The paving stones came from Italy, all high end stuff. It looked good when we finished but it was a royal pain. I'll take some pics the next time I'm there.

No need to roll it. The soil is only 6-8 inches deep. We put the bulk of it in a couple weeks ago. It's probably rained at least 6 inches since then. This was just the final tweak and the gravel cap.
