Bro Pind, I agree, my first choice would have been a Lincoln Bluemax 308 or 309 for the high cr content, and weldablilty of dissimilar metals, but they are close to 80 buck for 10 lbs. I just happened to be able to obtain some of the Pipeliner LHD100 (E10045-H4R) for free and they won the debate.

Well we had a big ole possum on a hamster wheel and I figured burning those 5/32 LH I would need to juice it up a bit so..... I gave him a couple of cups of the Janitors coffee and he started running so fast the bearing on the wheel failed and got so hot it started a sparkin and lit the possum on fire. He took off runnin made it into Dads pumpshed before we could get to him and he knocked over a few gas cans and a Jug of Roundup/2-4D combo. Gas ignited, pumpshed exploded, and the Roundup/2-4D got all over my Momma's Kumquat tree. She aint happy.

After that broke out the Miller Killer 250D. Welds a bit smoother than the possum.

Thank you, I dont know a whole lot, but Dad did pass on a bit to me and I like to share with others. (Well he passed on a lot but I was hard headed back then and didnt listen most of the time.) Maybe someone will be able to improve on my design and make something really nice out of it.

And again, I concur with the Janitors disposition.

Well It just so happens that was a maiden voyage for my new hood ( the old one finally gave it up after 20 years of use by dad and 10 or so my me) I also found Dads stash of pigskin TIG gloves and had to help myself to a new pair. I try to leave my shirt lying around the shop to get all dirty and make it look like I do something, but my mom always makes the rounds and gather up the rags and stuff to wash and usually gets my shirt too.

Morning everyone.

Nice and cool this morning, hopefully a few fronts start making their way down here.

Hey now, I resent that! I grabbed those sinkers fresh out of the dumpster just this morning!

Cincy must be busy with 'work' again... yeah right. I knew it sounded ridiculous as soon as I typed it.

Pull the hair back outta your eyes and you'll see much better. No glasses required.

Morning Claude,

Moose seems right up my ally. Didnt see the johnny cake comment, but I do love em, even though we dont have them very often. Now cracklins, those are a staple down here. The real one too, with the fat and meat on em. We call them gratons. (gra - as in grass, and, ton- as in tongs (its french for cracklin)

Send some of that colder weather down here.

What does 'getting lucky' have to do with moose season?
