I LOVE SA. The atmosphere is great. Dallas has it's perks, but SA has a life all it's own.

Probably why my college days were a little fuzzy

Well I'm hoping to rent a condo down in corpus for the winter. If so my sweety can come up and visit and we can walk the boardwalk (?). I think that's what it's called. One way or the other I have to get her out of the cold. At least for part of the winter.

CC is ~2hrs drive south on I37 from SA (in case you guys aren't certain of the distance). I believe the locals shall call you snowbirds

Its a good thing. Mom and dad have gone way beyond being good to me. They are letting me stay rent free so the wifey and I can save up for the 20% down on the farm. I'm just paying utilities. I hope to return the favor someday.

Sometimes....... You're right about our pastor and the replacement was hand picked by our current pastor and his predecessor. We saw a video clip of him from the pulpit and I think the fit will be pretty good. Still gonna miss the current one though.
