Nothing amazing about it Lary. Nothing correct either. He's from rural MN. He's pink.

EARLY? It was 0600, that's not early! It was time to get your lazy butt outta bed and get to work anyway. DO SOMETHING!

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21st:
1620 - The Mayflower reached Provincetown, MA. The ship discharged the Pilgrims at Plymouth, MA, on December 26, 1620.

1789 - North Carolina became the 12th state to ratify the U.S. Constitution.

1877 - Thomas A. Edison announced the invention of his phonograph.

1942 - The Alaska highway across Canada was formally opened.

1962 - U.S. President Kennedy terminated the quaratine measures against Cuba.

1963 - U.S. President John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline, arrived in San Antonio, TX. They were beginning an ill-fated, two-day tour of Texas that would end in Dallas.

1973 - U.S. President Richard M. Nixon's attorney, J. Fred Buzhardt, announced the presence of an 18½-minute gap in one of the White House tape recordings related to the Watergate case.

1980 - An estimated 83 million viewers tuned in to find out "who shot J.R." on the CBS prime-time soap opera Dallas. Kristin was the character that fired the gun.

1980 - 87 people died in a fire at the MGM Grand Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

1993 - The U.S. House of Representatives voted against making the District of Columbia the 51st state.

1994 - NATO warplanes bombed an air base in Serb-held Croatia that was being used by Serb planes to raid the Bosnian "safe area" of Bihac.

2001 - Microsoft Corp. proposed giving $1 billion in computers, software, training and cash to more than 12,500 of the poorest schools in the U.S. The offer was intended as part of a deal to settle most of the company's private antitrust lawsuits.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Sometimes it's just time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right!

It was 0400 when I woke up. It was 0500 when I posted. You're in a different time zone furball, as well as a different universe.

Mornin' all!

Up early here too. Been awake and out of bed since before 0400. Couldn't sleep.... Just did a few of the quiet chores around the house while everyone else slept.....

Another week of cold weather. Depending on whose weather station you look at its anywhere from -30* to -40* this morning. It's been over a week now since it was warmer than about -25*.

Keep the coffee hot!

Told y'all. Ding Dong!

Got sad news at church today, out Pastor is getting a promotion so that means he has to leave us. He's only been here about 3.5 years, only the second one we're ever had. As sad as I am for us I'm just as glad for him. He'll be a DS over 130 churches now. The last 2 DS's had to leave prematurely because of "personal issues". That district is getting a great guy and a better leader.
Sorry to hear about losing a Pastor. I seems like that happens and you were use to having them there. I'm sure the one that comes in will be able to bring the right stuff to your place.

It's good you're moving more and more. Take it easy to get the full affect.

I'm off folks, gotta catch a puddle jumper in the AM, off to lovely San Antonio... COME AND TAKE IT!!!

man I love that story...

Ya'll be good.

Yay! As long as I can find the pan, I'm all set. Have a safe trip to SA. Do you get to stay long to enjoy the city a little bit? Or strictly work, in and out? Either way, grab a good taco.

You're darn right, COME AND TAKE IT.

Growing up I was usually the token Hispanic in the group or one of the few. If we go by how/where I was raised, I should be Czech/German/Pol

Women fight dirty DH says he scared of me (calls me a "mexican redneck"). Apparently I have the "best" tendencies and attitudes of both worlds Chris Johnson, be afraid, be very afraid (I was born in CC and bounced around Karnes Co, Bee, and Nueces and SA in college).

Yup.

Early morning, can't get back to sleep. Lights are on, so is the brew. Don't be the last in or there will be nothing left for you.
I think it's the girl thing where you have to find THE dress. Takes forever

He DOESN'T like us, but it's never stopped him from coming around. I think he LIKES to dislike us but doesn't like to TELL us he doesn't like us. His dislike for telling us he doesn't like us is only marginalized by his dislike of us in the first place.

So, he needs us. Kinda of like Batman needs The Joker?

Yes! Exactly!

But now we have to ponder the ramifications of someone with needy tendencies to the very people he dislikes so much.

And how does this make you feel?
