It's been so quiet in here I'm going to "break the silence"!
Evening DTR, was busy yesterday! I fried 3 turkeys and the wife baked a ham for all the family that was over. The fried turkey was just awesome, everyone loved! I took one to mom and dads last night, they requested i bring one. We ended up having very little leftovers and a very full and happy family!
I didn't have time to even get on the computer yesterday, just too much going on. Wife and I relaxed today and then put up Chirstmas lights. She is decorating the Christmas tree tonight.
Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving!

Hey Matt, thanks for sharing the vid,, just like dinner at the station..
Fried up 2 turkeys, the first one was slightly over done but good, the second I used T- rads honey bitter recipe, should have ate the second one first.
Hope all is well with everyone, no black friday shopping for the wife and I, we did that once years ago, just once and NEVER again. I then understood why they called it black Friday.
Heading out on a poker run with the Club, charity run for one of the local food pantry's.Thursday a bunch of us helped set up, prep food then serve it to the needy. The Sisters that run the food shelter love having us there, not only can we prep, cook and clean it also seems that a bunch of burly Fire Fighters wearing their Colors while serving food keeps the trouble makers in line.
Have a great weekend folks.

Can't believe it - - another week is all capoot. Wow, getting old way too fast. Wife was just looking up a payment we made and asked "did I put the wrong date in the computer for this check? It says 2010 - - was it not this year?" Yeh I think so. NOPE - - the middle of last year. Horrors, how can it go by that fast - - maybe it is because we are having so much fun. ....
OK, taking a shot at the ph00 to see if Scotty behaved himself when he was in here. Have a great one.

Sorry I haven't been around. . Addressing some heavy duty problems at work, home and family all at once. Tends to wear you down. Way too much going on the last 4 weeks.
I have some stuff I need to address with you guys too.

Wow, the breakroom is quiet tonite. Hopefully it is just because the Merkins have turkey and black Friday overload. This is going to be a busy weekend in the shadow of the Rockies. Father-in-Law made it thru the nite and is doing better. That is good. He is a good guy. He is only 90 lbs soaking wet but 80 lbs of that is his heart. He is the guy who taught me to weld. Tomorrow, Rhonda (my wife) and I are going to make chicken sausage. Sadly, this will be a small batch so I won't be able to send any of this batch to a fellow Canadian from Saskatchewan who wants super lean and super tasty sausage. Sunday I have to work on my 'Honey Do' list and then Monday I have to go meet my local battery connection. My truck and my car all need new batteries and it turns out that a member of the ABDTR chapter is able to get a good price on Interstate batteries.
I had an interesting observation today. About a week or two ago a fairly new member of this board was taking liberties and just being down right mean with one of our lady members. Now let's be clear, this particular lady has always been truly a lady but at the same time she also has never needed the boys to stand up for her. I was rather offended by the rude approach this particular newbie was talking to one of our ladies. Well today I happened to read through a slightly older thread. There was a response from this particular member - the not so nice member. I noticed that it now says 'banned' under the members name. I am neither a fascist not a tyrant but I was pretty happy to see that. One of the things I like about this family, dysfunctional as we are, is that we are polite and respectful. If you don't want to be polite and respectful, there are about a million other places on the interweb for you. I am not sure which admin banned this poor and misguided member, but whoever it was, good on you.
