I'm here, been up since 3. My last Friday of the month. Got some last minute research to finish on the axle swap today. Met a guy on the west coast from another forum that has built a couple solid axle 4-link trucks. Mailed me all kinds of pictures and measurements. I'm planning on an inverted Y 4 link. Gonna keep leaves in the rear. The springs I'm useing are Rubicon 5.5" lift TJ springs, have some Rancho 9000's waiting. Should have the camera squared away towards the end of vacation.

Rain Room???? Is that what some of us o-l-d timers called rain locker (squid talk from the early 60's)????
Speaking of squids, glad to see PistolWhipt back in harness, no matter how temporary.
I think my computer is getting ready to crash. It wouldn't boot up but gave a noise (single beep) every 10 seconds or so. Stuck my AVG rescue disk in (for a different computer), booted up drive A, said incorrect disk, insert a different disk and press any key, ejected "incorrect disk", couldn't find the any key (ok, I know that's an o-l-d joke ) so I hit the space bar, then the computer started booting up. ??????????
S-o-o-o, if I'm gone for awhile, you'll know why. Wish my computer programmer and troubleshooter, par excellance, son-in-law lived closer than the 1421 miles (according to my trusty gps). I hate playing phone tag.
It's workweek FRIDAY. Kinda like these 3 day workweeks.
Be safe and give your loved ones a hug. You never know when it might be your last chance.

Got a nice heavy drag link and sway bar off the wagoneer. With urethayne bushings, it can't possibly ride worse than the GM crap under there now. The knuckles aren't flat tops, so I can't go high steer, but i have a 4" drop pitman arm and I'll probably go with a gear box from an Astro to move it forward to eliminate any bump-steer. If it doesn't work, I'll make a dune buggy out of it and get another vehicle.

Mornin' all,
Houston, nice morning so far, sun shining, and not too hot yet. But the usual forecast.
CIN good calabration on the launcher, found the breakfast bag ok. Thanks.
Chaikwa, good coffee got your fangs sharpened and ready to go now.
Now get back to teaching.
NWDave, you got the "rain oudoors," don't have to go to the rain room.
There is a computer fixer dude in Sedro-Woolley we used. Go in on Cook road, toward town, where it makes the right turn there is a road off to the left, take that road, a little short one, and where it ends turn left. On the next corner on your right he works out of his house. But he does make house calls. His name is Jud, if I remember right, don't have his phn # anymore.
Pistol, good to see you again, don't be a stranger around here. Congrats on paying off BERT.
OD, thanks for posting your carvings. They are great. You do good work.
Hat, you sure get up tooooo early. Take care of your self.
DuallyD, study hard, and learn lots. Then go check your mail.
Fronty, like your travel story, "then she said, "In english please"...
Look in Wannabe gallery, I think she posted pix of the camel race last year.
Redleg, good luck on the truck project. You been busy lately.
Have a good un, and be safe out there

Old dog Claude thanks for the pic's Really like the walking sticks. The third face is great the way it blends in with the shape of the wood. Kinda cool to see what else everyone is into besides CTD's.
Rained last night. Beautiful day shaping up, calm and sunny so far.
04 Before contemplating poking said wife with a stick I would caution you to remember a Mr. Bobbitt.
Catch you later... Have fun and drive safe.

Evening, all. How are things?
Claude, good work. I may be e-mailing you a request, as soon as I have a minute.
Had a good day... Came home early, mowed the yard, one of my friends came by while I was doing it and we talked for a minute, drank a few buds, caught a snake and let the kids play with it... had a nice one. Feels good to be normal every now and again.
Bout to go eat some spagetti, I'll save a bite for chahairwa.
BTW, Scott, how did the dentist visit go?
Later...
