Had my final this afternoon and I think I did well. Came home to some bad news though. My mother has a lump in her breast. She's going in for an MRI tomorrow. She went in for something today, and the doctor doesn't think it is cancerous. I am freaking out though. It has happened once before and it turned out to be nothing. Still scaring the hell out of me.

Morning everyone .... I'm dipping into the secret stash of starbucks this morning ... tried to bust the sludge loose in the regular pot but didn't have a big enough jackhammer.

Gonna head into the Toyota "refit facility" (couldn't put what I wanted to call them ... rhymes with dealer-ship) today to get the air swapped in my tires .... no, really. Swapping out O2 for N2 ... ahhhh what the hey, I'm up for trying any silly gimmick ... once. Supposed to help the tires & wheels last longer.

Son #1 lost his job yesterday (an accumulation of rookie mistakes), so now he's "down in the dumps" and already starting to backslide. Must be time for another one of dad's size 9 motivational speeches . Good learning experience ... school of hard knocks is now in session. Me thinks the military should start looking good to him in another couple months .

Deny, deny, deny....

Went up to the deli at the grocery store. Sandwichs went up again, pushing $6. The lady says they're losing their lunch crowd now. I guess it's more profitable to nickle and dime us and have extra food go to waste? Sure market prices are rising, but holding your ground, would draw the crowds I would think? You can still get a big mac meal for $5 and little ceazars for $5. Fast food might get the reputation of being cheap again? Not venting, just an observation.

 

Well I have good news. She went in this morning and the doctor is almost sure it is just a cist. This has happened twice now. Scares the living poop out of my. There is a history of it in my family. My aunt had breast cancer withing the past 5 years. She is going in on thursday for a biopsy, just to be sure. I'm just relieve that SHE is relieved. It has been really stressful. Ive been prayin like crazy and I can't thank all of you enough for your support. You are all too kind.

went to post last night, and it disappeared. thought it best not to irritate the computer .....

have to have a sit down with the service manager at mercedes. paid a lot of $$ for stuff not working on my beloved little car (85 300td). went in with vacuum locks, remote alarm system and new brake resevoir. came out with a brand new resevoir and nothing else. radio doesn't even work, they couldn't
get a rubber elbow for the tranny so they unhooked the turbo, locks and the alarm bothered them so they ripped it out. viper alarms are not cheap.
no communication from the service writer to the mechanic, big problem there that cost me 800 bucks. will see if i can be a mediator.....don't really know what to ask for is the problem.

lot of other stuff done, big questions answered with veterans benefits, cemetary stuff- everything resolved. good to go ,
