Come on in folks, LSD and ULSD, both on tap. (regular coffee and foo too, if you dare) Where's everybody hiding this morning? The donuts even look worried.

cafe eh ? hmmmmmmmm sure is lookin like a"nice foo foo" name, but sheesh, its still the same ole grind in here....... saw the name and almost poured coffee down myself. any way damp and 50 degrees out now, not lookin like a day to get much done, cooked a 6 lb brisket dang near all day yesterday and was it good, might have to knaw on leftovers in short time here. aside from that, I really should get my boost gauge hooked up and maybe run power to the lights in the gauges so I can see em at night. Hey, one of them "doughnuts" just moved !

Mornin' all!

Been a quiet night in the state motel tonight. Get off in 1.5hours and get to ride home on the pedal bike $4.50/gal now for diesel. I hope I'll average 20 mpg on the coffee from the break room.

Nobody ever complains of not getting enough mileage from the beverage counter here. As a matter of fact, the only thing we ever hear is "after one cup of Scott's mop water, I had the...........I was running all day".

It POURS? Can't be any good if it's that thin! Leave it to an Alabamian to mess up the name AND the product! Don't come cryin' to me if ya get a mob of angry people lookin' to lynch ya! Ya slept in all week long, then come Sunday ya get up early, give the thread a sissy name an' make some kinda gunk an' try an' pass it off as sumpthin' palatable.

Had the brilliant idea to change the warped rotors and pads on our 98 3500 yesterday... what a major PITA! Now that I know what holds that mess all together, I'm not sure I wanna go accross town in it, much less accross the country! 4 little 7/16" bolts hold the whole wheel/bearing/rotor assembly to the steering knuckle! Why bother with 8, 5/8" lug bolts and nuts when it's just the 4 little bolts holding things in place to begin with? Of course, everything was frozen and rusted together, so maybe that was Chryslers' big plan from the start... "Well, if we can get it to hold together for a year, the rust will hold it after that!" And maybe that's why they went to outboard mounted rotors in later model years. With outboards, no one will see what actually holds things in place and still think they have something 'heavy-duty"! You'd think for 50 grand you'd get something a little more substantial.

Ok, i'm done. Gotta go try an' put that thing back together today... with LOTS of anti-sieze!

Hmm, let's see, May 4th - - yeh, roads should be clear - - have fun. Cyclist in Alaska - - meals on wheels.

Gorgeous Sunday morn down this way - - heading for 82 today - - getting boring again - - 82 every day - - so much sun - - cool eves - - gorgeous sunsets - - fish are biting - - golf course bright green with gators laying all over it - - everything is good.

Grabbing foo - - chasing donut all over the place - - there, had to stomp on it, picking up the crumbs - - should still be good. See ya and have a great one.

Bob
ps: you too, Scotty ya big ole galoot.

Around here, nobody would know what you meant by Alabamian, they're all just rednecks. (Who happen to be from Alabama)

Chrysler's been using rust for decades and with great success. I don't know why you're whining soooo much, you glue metal together. (elmer)

Wink Cause it's in his blood, to complain- that's why he does it soooo often!

good to hear from everyone! makes for a nice morning!!!!!!

I had breakfast made for me, now I get to nap and then I really have to do paperwork and uncover the kitchen counter from mail.

have a persistent great blue heron at the pond- yes, I have plenty of fish, but they can bring a lot of friends..... so out I go yelling and clapping as the town supervisor goes by for the church run. phone call from neighbor says a heron is eating my fish, so out I go like an idiot...guess who is done with church service....guess who the next call is from....continuing my streak of looking foolish I guess. ahhh wellll, nothing new...

MAD- focus, focus, focus and slow down. pretend you are on beer. I will try to accomodate .....keep up the JUST SAY NO to chew this week. get some carrots, peppermint altoids, (not other 'roids) or nasty tasting gum (trains the brain that any cravings are bad and stops them better) but stay safe!
CHAIKWA will put warning labels all over your man-shop, further reducing your focus- you'll be afraid to do ANYTHING!!!! scary labels ...whoooooooheheheh

Heidi enjoying putting stuff on Ebay (not really just pysching myself out)

Morning all.

Slept in a bit this morning. Did a little bit of drinking with my boys last night. Can't for awhile now as I gotta strap down and get ready for finals. Bout ready to go out and work on the jeep right now. The 4.0s are notorious for being oil burrners; valve cover gaskets, pcv valves, rear mains, etc. So I'm in there tearing it apart doing it all. Rear main, oil pan, valve cover, pcv valves, grommets, heater hoses, rad lines, tstat, etc. Might as well get it all done now before summer gets here. Later on I get to do some studying. Lots of it.

I'll check in later. Take care of yourselves. You're good ppl.

Josh

Mornin again...

Bob, I used the alaska thing in my sig... pretty funny! Tho, apparently, BB code does not work in signatures...

Josh... what else can I say?

One of my wife's friends just came over... Check this out...

I'm sitting on my couch, typing away on the DTR... there's a knock at the door... funny, I'm not expecting any one, and I don't have any friends... so I get up to answer it, and about a step and a half away from the door, it opens! I immediatly brought up the fists and started to throw an elbow... and it was my OL's friend. That could have ended very badly. Laugh now... I was rotating my hips and shoulders and already stepping into the blow... My ol's friend, (who just got out of the Marine Corps a few days ago) actually started to respond in a defensive manor... she threw her hands up and assumed the BWS...

Silly Marines...
