Its somehow tied in with the whole area 51, Amelia Ehrhardt with Elvis thing. Probably shouldnt talk about it or "they" are gonna start asking questions. I will change the subject to throw them off. Hmmm, looks cold outside.

Well, Hate to be a buzz kill, but I need to pass it along.
Uncle (F)Red passed away this afternoon from a heart attack. Great guy, would do anything for anyone.

OK, (sigh) baby food folks, Toys R Us and lots more give away big bucks to the parents of the first baby of the new year. Man, this is a tough room.
Condolences from here as well Fronty.

Sorry Fronty.
Evenin' all! Had a decent day today. Got the lock fixed on the backdoor. $83 for a new deadbolt. 1.5" backsets are near impossible to get anymore. My old one wasn't repairable anymore either. Used up it's last life last year I guess. Oh well. I played locksmith at -20* and won. Warmed up this afternoon to -10* so I took the kids sledding at the U. They had a great time. They are all old enough now that I don't have to drag them up the hill anymore. That means I had fun.
Blake- good to hear that things are going well. Keep on the program!

Fronty: Gotta know! Uncle (F)Red, was his first name Fred and nickname Red? Maybe a good story behind it. Sounds like a really great guy and am sorry for your loss.
Its either a tough room or its filled with dimwits. Gotta sign off for awhile to get my wife to untie my shoes.

Morning. Grrrr....... Temp at the house shows 16, one of the local stations says 14. I say it's cold, cold enough to freeze pipes. What a way to start the day.
Paul, sounds like a good day.

I'd be putting my money on the latter.
Almost 30 here this morning Rick.
Morning all.
Today is Tuesday, January 5th, 2010. (how many are still writing '09'?)
On this day in 1781 - Richmond, VA, was burned by a British naval expedition led by Benedict Arnold.
1885 - The Long Island Railroad Company became the first to offer piggy-back rail service which was the transportation of farm wagons on trains.
1896 - It was reported by The Austrian newspaper that Wilhelm Roentgen had discovered the type of radiation that became known as X-rays.
1914 - Ford Motor Company announced that there would be a new daily minimum wage of $5 and an eight-hour workday.
1933 - Construction of the Golden Gate Bridge began.
1956 - In the Peanuts comic strip, Snoopy walked on two legs for the first time.
1993 - The state of Washington executed Westley Allan Dodd. It was America's first legal hanging since 1965. Dodd was an admitted child sex killer.
