Length of Day
4h 35m
Tomorrow will be 3m 34s longer.
They are calling for above temps by mid week...Woke up to -40 yesterday but warmed up to -10 an has held that till now...If the wind wasn't blowing so hard it would be quite nice out....took a walk back in the woods to take Jake out...

LoL!! Hey Sister, glad I checked back. You are up far too late for a working girl. Hope you guys survive the storms. I have been lucky here this year. Sometimes being close to the ocean is a pain but its been keeping me warm this year--only 15f right now. Still wishing everybody a good new years.

Morning folks, thanks for the welcome back.
We left from near Kilgore yesterday morning and it was +5 with a 10-15 mph wind. The temp dropped to +1 about 30 miles east of Columbus. We never saw anything above 28 for the entire trip. Get up this morning and it's +20 but the news is calling for 1-2" of snow on Thursday with a low of 12. I took all the firewood I had up to my sister for her wood burner.
Hey Scott, I see there was a little conspiracy going on while I was gone. Did you have anything to do with it?

RICK- if your wife was overjoyed to see the snow - you should have brought her up here ( she would have been in utopia )
Scott _wrong answer _ should have been in your best SHILTS impression (I KNOW NOTHING )

Chris, you can pull the trick I did. I carried a load of firewood up to my sister so I wasn't worried about the trip up. For the return trip I just shoveled a bunch of plowed snow in the back for extra weight, worked fine.
Well, normally it's because you've got something to do with it but this time I figured you would have used your investigative skills (cough) and pieced the puzzle together for yourself.
That's right!
