OK, I'll post. Went to calling hours for OJ tonight. It was very nice but I was disappointed by the lack of folks from my old department. Thanks for the kind thought for me also, they're much appreciated...........as always.

It sounds so crude to say, and I hate to say it, but could it be that they're just over-saturated with all the loss that's been going around? If I'm remembering correctly, you just lost another former officer a month ago. Sometimes people can only take just so much. Speaking of which, how are YOU holding up?

Scott, it could be the way you say but the department has had a shift to allot of new faces and the new guys just haven't learned the value of respect and doing some things just because you should. As for me, I just asked the wife if we had anything to do tomorrow that I didn't remember. I'm mentally tired and at this time, I don't think I can do another Police funeral this soon. This all just doesn't seen right.

Give me a call tomorrow if you have the chance and feel like it. You'll feel better after we talk, trust me. If you're mentally tired now, you'll be exhausted when we're thru!
