Well, I don't. I've progressed into the 21 century and use a wire feed. But a friend of mine was asking as he's like you and still stuck in the dark ages.

Once they are open they will absorb moisture.. period.

Its how creative you get with the storage solutions. Rod boxes are expensive. Old refrigerator with a light bulb (80 to 100 watt) inside, isnt.....

Well I'm glad you clarified THAT... I'd have thought the light bulb went on the outside!

I guess I have to take some pics for you of the ROW and the pipe laid out...

Think as you may, but in cross county pipelining, there just aint much use for wirefed.

Looks real pretty seeing all that pipe up and down the rolling hills.

This one is short, just 5.5 miles, but its three seperate lines. Its a reroute of Kinder Morgans Mid Continent Express pipeline that ends in Joliet, Il. We are moving three individual sections of two 30" and one 36" lines.

A coal company in the area has found some huge deposits of lignite, and we are moving the lines so that they can mine the area.
