Morning all. I wish Fiver was painting. Got back about an hour ago from a PETscan. Man I hate those things. Feels just like the heart attack when they inject that crap in you. Really leaves me drug out - - probably mostly from bringing back some horrible memories. Don't like them at all but a necesary part of the follow up. Been ten years - - wow time flies.

Hey Scott - - so glad the staples are almost out - - been way too long. Hope everything heals up great for you. I am sure you are glad to get it over with. Don't go out there and start playing with your spheres just because you are feeling better.

Ok, need a cup of the real thing - - helps counteract that junk they inject. Weird, but it works. See ya later,

Bob

I pulled 57 of them out of my leg with a pair of needle nose pliers, saved me from having to go to the Doc

I did wipe some of the grease off the pliers first with a dirty rag, (from the last bearing packing job) can't be too careful when it comes to germs you know

After the first 10 or so it was a piece of cake

My doc seemed to think I was going to remove the staples myself...he determined that by the other scars on my LEGGS and told me that the staples he used are a new version that need a special tool...not just pliers to remove.
I decided I would try and pluck one out and well, they are different.
They are shaped kinda like a roof truss with hooks on each end. I managed to get the gauze on it before the blood rolled down onto the rug...Gotta find a different way...maybe one of those special interior tools for our trucks?
Hmmmmm.

As my Older Twin said...glad you are doing ok with the ticker there BobbyLatexPaintedOnSpeedo! Stressy stuff for sure.

STAPLE Brand Phoo00 soon to be 4 Ewe all.

Thanks Lary - - definitely don't want to ever go thru all that again. I made the decision I would be a good boy, eat right, keep the weight down and exercise regularly. It works. LDL is 60 with HDL about 85 - - doc is amazed and happy. Lost 35 pounds when it happened (ten years ago) and I am still there.

Now, we just need to get that crazee Canuck back happy

Food time,

Bob

Afternooner All!

Rained here a bit today. Might have pulled a bunch of the smoke and ash out of the air from the local wild fires. That'll make for a nicer pedal home tonight.

One more day til I'm off again. Hopefully the regular boss will be back tomorrow. Rent-a-Sergeants are horrible.
