Just came in from marking the fence POSTs. Skitters are crazy out there. I almost slapped my LEFT LEGG thinking I was gettin hit by flock of skitters. 
Yes itching is good...and right now it seems likes it has let up a bit.
POSTs are going in tomorrow on the one side of the yard.
No, I am not doing it. I hired someone this time because I knew that that kind of a motion with that many POSTs would tear up my LEGG
Nice that the itching is not BADGERing me as much as it was earlier.

1790 - The District of Columbia, or Washington, DC, was established as the permanent seat of the United States Government.
1791 - Louis XVI was suspended from office until he agreed to ratify the constitution.
1862 - Two Union soldiers and their servant ransacked a house and raped a slave in Sperryville, VA.
1862 - David G. Farragut became the first rear admiral in the U.S. Navy.
1935 - Oklahoma City became the first city in the U.S. to make use of parking meters.
1940 - Adolf Hitler ordered the preparations to begin on the invasion of England, known as Operation Sea Lion.
1942 - French police officers rounded up 13,000 Jews and held them in the Winter Velodrome. The round-up was part of an agreement between Pierre Laval and the *****. Germany had agreed to not deport French Jews if France arrested foreign Jews.

2004 - Martha Stewart was sentenced to five months in prison for lying about a stock sale. She was also ordered to spend five months confined to her home and fined $30,000. She was allowed to remain free pending her appeal.
2005 - J.K. Rowling's book "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" was released. It was the sixth in the Harry Potter series. The book sold 6.9 million copies on its first day of release.

Gorgeous morning down here, cooler out this morning so spent some time out with the orchids and other plants being nice to them and whispering sweet nothings in their ears like WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO BLOOM YOU STUPID THINGS - - NO BLOOMS - - NO FOOD. UNDERSTAND???? They just grinned.
