If we sold the 160 acre farm in Michigan, we *MIGHT* have enough for a modest ranch or cape on a 2 acre lot here. I can't imagine what 50 or so acres would cost here, even out where you are, but I'd still bet we'd have a sizable mortgage.
We're here until the 6th. We go to Devens Tuesday night for the Safe conference, then we head back here to Merrimac Thursday night. Have a few CPR classes, fire safety in the schools next week and a planning meeting with DFS to start the re-write of the Juvenile Fire Setter curriculum. Also have the MIFDI 50th anniversary meeting next Wednesday at the Academy. You ought to come to that Tim. FREE LUNCH! Good organization to get involved with tho. We never hear much from you guys on the 'other' side of the state!

No sir, not a thing. Even if I had anything it's been raining for about 10 days so it's too wet to even turn a tire. Did the link to the jeep parts do you any good? I just finished running through the job postings on the state's job site. It's so bad I'm even getting bored picking on Scott.

VILLAGE UP HERE IS STRAPPED FOR CASH >SO THEY ARE SELLING OFF THE TREES ON ONE 10 ACRE PLOT & AN A 25 ACRE PLOT >
KIND OF LOOKS LIKT THE COMPANY DOING IT USE TO BE A BIGGER ONE >BUT NOW ITS A ONE MAN BAND HE HAS A JOHNDEER HARVESTER>
ONE OF THOSE THAT THEY PUT THE BIG FRONT END LOADERS ON AND HINGE IN THE MIDDLE> THING HAS NO MURCY >GOES UP TO A 80 TO 100 FT PINE CUTS IT GRABES IT CARRYS IT AND PILES IT > WAITING TO SEE WHEN HE COMES BACK WITH A MACHINE THAT STRIPPES THE BRANCHES AND TOPS THEM .
HE (AS I UNDERSTAND IT ) IS SUPOSE TO COME IN WITH A BOWL GRINDER AND CLEAN UP LIMS & TOPS ( CHIP IT ALL AND ANY SMALL TREES THAT WERE CUT BECAUSE THEY WERE IN HIS WAY !
I UNDERSTAND THEM BEING STRAPPED FOR MONEY >BUT SELLING WHEN ALL BUT ABOUT 3 MILLS IN THE STATE ARE CLOSED DOWN AND THE PRICE IS DOWN > DON`T KNOW SEAMS LIKE THEIR COULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER PLAN !
