Hey all, haven't been around for about a week. Stupid week at work and not gonna be any better next week. Oh well, that can wait until Monday. Kid sister brought her two daughters out for a sleep over last nite. Kids (5 & 7) had a blast. Once kids were asleep, adults played pool for a few hours and had a bit of red wine. Family is on the way home now.
Gotta love southern Alberta. The Siberian cold front that has been kicking Alaska, Whitehorse and Alberta all week just got snuffed out here by a chinook. It was -32C/-22F on Thursday and it is going to be +4C/38F here within the next hour or so. Chinooks are the only things that make winter in southern Alberta tolerable.

Ive been here all the time. Just with global warming -40 is colder than it used to be.

Gulp!! Never realized how close dieting and dieing/dying are. Good reason to give up my diet so I don't make a mistake.

We had our last 2 on it for hip/back/joint issues. The stuff works but we will never use it again. Both dogs died due to liver failure and that's not a pretty way to go. Never, ever again. We'll find an alternate if we're faced with the choice again.

Evening gang. The storms went around us for the most part, just rain, wind and thunder for the most part here. My only problem is that strap Shorts had me put on.

had to admit I almost peed my pants laughing,

friend thought it was amazing to have our cat play 'hide and seek', so he hid behind furniture as the cat stalked him. five minutes in, he lost sight of the animal and turned around while on his hands and knees. abruptly face to face with the cat who stood up on rear legs with forepaws ready to decapitate.
we think he fainted. he said he was playing dead.

no one thought to record this despite all the high tech phones.....

beer goes down pretty good after serious laughter.
