Smoke, smoke and more smoke, blew in last night.
Mountain across the lake from the cabin went up in flames over the last week or so as well. No property losses in the area at this point, just trees.
Temps dropped off a little bit today, down to about 18 - 20C, which is a nice break from what it was. Could stay this way for a while, but they are calling for upward motion on the temps in the new week.

1943 - Gen. George S. Patton verbally abused and slapped a private. Later, Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower ordered him to apologize for the incident.
1985 - Mail service returned to a nudist colony in Paradise Lake, FL. Residents promised that they’d wear clothes or stay out of sight when the mailperson came to deliver. (I think this is where 5ver lives!)
