supposedly. I think it uses a small electric current to break the salt in to sodium and chlorine and the chlorine kills germs before it rebonds with the sodium.

Yea I Watched A Program On It Also-just Keeps Working Over & Over

that sounds kind of realistic because think of a watter softner and the # of gallons that treats

Have either of you two actually been to the ocean and seen a stagnant pool of seawater? That's essentially what you'll have if you don't pump and filter that pool water. Those pools of seawater smell 1000 times worse than any fresh water! Try it, maybe you'll have an inland salt water marsh!

And thats the difference between me and Chaikwa.. I bath and care for my flock. They smell soooo goood wet and dry.. Chaikwa just leaves his out to pasture and only uses them. So Sad

A couple years back, I was on the beach in Brunei. I have also hit the beach in Yarmouth, UK and Norway. I have been on a beach or two.
25# of salt in 8000# of water is about 1/3% (.3125% exact)
