How's everyones day? Had to go to Joliet IL today to the Railroad Board for an interview about my benefits and and job placement. Went to the GF's tonight and helped her finish up the invitations and had wings for dinner. Relaxing right now and opening up a beer

Evening Claude, no it wasn't a job interview. It was an interview to put me inthe placement system the RRB has setup to help furloughed/laid-off workers get back to work. Did get good news, they are seeing less unemployment claims and that the major RR layoffs are over, so are actually going back to work depending on senority. I've got good hopes I'll be working soon, might be a little while but something will come along even if that means relocating.

That's because there are no more people TO lay off or file a claim! Pretty soon the news is going to be that unemployment across the board is going down. That will lead you to believe that people are going back to work, but instead, it will really mean that people's unemployment benefits have run out and they have fallen out of the system and are unable to collect anymore.
