Not yet. Thursday, or so they say. None of the weather guessers have been right in the last 6 months, so why start now?

Might be time to get a rock. I thought you were in a rush because it was going to snow today. If you didn't want to talk........

Congrats Pistol!

Mornin' all from the great ice rink in the north!

It's been raining for over 24 hours straight. need ice cleats to walk right now. I parked mama's T&C cause it won't negotiate a speed bump right now. I dug out the s15 Jimmy and slapped the studs on it. That little suv does pretty well keeping glued to the ice.

School is closed again today. So are a lot of other businesses. The military bases are closed to all non-essential personel. Supposed to rain through thanksgiving.

Yeah... back in the day, when we had corn fields, I'd just get corn and let it germinate a little, make my own meal. It's just easier to buy the corn meal when you are starting, until you get a little mash going, then you can soak the corn in it. I don't have a recipe anymore, and it's been forever since I've done it. Gonna have to start from scratch.

Mornin, DTR. FREEZING HERE!!! I think it was 40 on the way to work this morning.

Did Noah have woodpeckers on the ark? If he did, where did he keep them?
No report on the MRI this quick. Only a techy around to do the MRI. But she liked my tanned LEGGS. I should know by the end of the week. And I am soooo glad you filled in the missing word - - I just couldn't think of "what" it could be. As for the woodpeckers - - they are fine if you just cut off their - - - ahhhh ----- ahhhhh - - - "what." And speaking of "what", what is this title under your name? Wow, we now have to bow and be careful of what we say. Congrats -- I guess. Sometimes I wonder and being a moderator - - time consumming.

OK, refill on the ph00 and I am out of here. Got to get on with this "nothing to do because I am retired" stuff. Oh yeh - - come help me so I can go get some more tan.

Bob

Only if you install half the top half of tanning booth above the sunroof in order to feel something resembling sun...it's been cold and dark here for a few weeks, and them folk up North have got it even worse!

Time to make the trip to work again. Day two of rain on top of sleet, on top of hardpack snow, on top of 15* asphalt. At least they tried to delay reporting by two hours, so I'm not sharing the road with the other 10,000 people who commute.

Schools are closed down here too, and for Anchorage, North Star and Mat-Su to all be closed, you might consider this a "significant weather event". Matter 'o fact, I don't recall it ever happening before...more research required after I get to work

Be careful driving.

News article in the paper this AM says this is the first time in 30 years they have closed the schools for an entire day.
