Dont sweat those sports cars
While heading to work yesterday cruising along at 65mph. A late model camaro blew by me with the passenger motioning for me to bring it on. Well i thought about it for a few seconds and thought, what the heck.( it is a very lightly traveled and straight stretch of good highway). and Lo and behold i started gaining. and what a hoot watching them frantically looking in their mirror and over their shoulders as i turned on my left blinker and started to pass them. As i passed by i made the same "bring it on gesture". I gave them another couple miles to try and redeem their pride. But no luck. I can only imagine what they felt. hehe. a Muddy 4x4 Diesel beating their shiny sports car. My coworkers had a ringside seat as we passed by. If they hadnt seen it they would never have believed it. lol.
I bet the camaro owner stopped at the first autozone he came to and bought a reprogrammer to disable the speed limiter after that expieriance.

Yup pure stock. Chevrolet cars and trucks have speed limiters. The only thing i can figure is theirs was shutting down around 100. mine was running 110. No way could i beat them from takeoff. I wonder if they could hear the turbo as i passed. lol

Must have been a V6. I had an 95 LT1 Trans Am and there's no way a stock truck could have kept up with it. I may be wrong but I'm sure I went over 100 mph in that thing before I started modding it..
