means I am going to HAVE to buy more deductions and or donate more money to keep out of that bracket. I am a ways off from being there anyways but this is getting out of control

Not if they drop it to 45k you won't. 45k is pretty average out there and most people's deductions won't keep them from paying the AMT (aka: gestapo social justice tax).

It's funny because the libs out there scream that the repubs are trying to widen the gap between the rich and poor but this kind of stuff is what does it and comes right from a demo controlled house.
