Does anyone here have a verizon Gz'One Phone? and if so how do you like it? I need a phone that rings loud and has good clarity.

Mine works fine...It needs a louder speaker in it for the PTT and speaker phone though. It is a rugged phone though.
And one button on the top left hand side of the phone gets you to the text options.

Yeah, then "new message", then "text message", then "add", then "from contacts", then scroll down to their name, then "mark", then "done", then "ok", then you can finally start typing. It's a real pain compared to my old phone. Just sayin.........

I hear ya...
I hate texting anyway, the only one is the ol' lady sometimes, and since she is the only one on there, all you have to do is reply to an existing message to start a new one.
But if you are doing a new one from scratch, I agree with you, it's a PITA.
I just can't stand those thin phones that will break if you look at them wrong, let alone get them wet or drop them off something.
