The reason that it looks so good it I hit the pole with my tow hook.

Thanks for all of the thoughts guys. I hate that this happened but I am glad that I was able to walk away from it with only four small pieces of glass in my are. Four stiches is all that it took to seal up my cut. They were amazed at the hospital that I was not in any pain, it looked really bad but did not hurt.

Glade to see everyone is ok. I tried to call you Travis and TJ. Hope to get everything fixed soon.
We got Boots truck fixed and i got quite a buzz going. hard to typpe ..\n Put the spare LP on and then the Holley puo=mmmp on. I blame this on Mark f4 bringing all that beerz orver/ I think i gotta go to bed and sleep this offff.
Boots i think your VP44 days are numbered. Gotta cut that Bio to 10-20% not 100%.

Travis if there is anything i can go let me know. If you wanna watch the game Sunday with me let me know and i will come and get you.

Wow! Guess I should check in to DTR more often. Glad to see you all are okay. Yes the trucks can be fixed, but that doesn't make the frustration any easier to go through. Sorry this happened guys! Travis get well soon, and hope your trucks get well soon too.

After seeing what happened to that pole I told my wife to think about what would happen to someone pulling out in front of me while doing 40 mph, might just cut the car in half.

One of the big reasons for me getting a 3 ton truck was last year I was my 79T-bird and got rear ended at a stop by a chevy 3500 doing 35-40,I drove away from it the chevy did not.

I get rear ended now they might get the hitch in there face.

Dang,

Just found this thread... glad you two made it through that without any major injuries.

Hopefully the trucks will be rolling down the road again soon.

Chris

BTW, any comments from the cops, tow truck driver, etc.? Not every day you see two trucks demolish that much stuff and sustain that little damage.

Wow. Trucks can be fixed is RIGHT! Walking away from just about any accident is good news most of the time. People die everyday in similar situations.

T.J, why was the van stopping so soon? I bet he was shocked to see you in the rear view about .003 seconds before you made impact!

Yes I have recieved several comments about how minor the damage is to my truck for going THROUGH a pole. Talking with the towing company today she said that the grill is not even cracked. I will verify this information in the AM when I have to go inspect it with the insurance company at the repair facility. More pictures to follow, along with repair pictures comming soon (hopefully)

Don't sign anything from the insurance company. They ain't no better than the dealerships. Take it to your body shop and get the estimate. Cliff's Hi-Tech did all the talking with the insurance company for me. They are an authorized insurance repair facility.
