It tell you it's "lightweight"
The 8.0L 488 CID ten cylinder engine is a V-type, lightweight, single cam, overhead valve engine with hydraulic roller tappets.

probably one of the best motors i ever owned, if it would of came in a better truck i would probably still have it. small block rpm's with big block power, sucked gas but ran like no other. needless to say mine was on the rev limiter alot and ran great, truck just couldnt take the power or the abuse. first generation v10 was 310 horsepower and 450 ft-lbs of torque and at 5500 rpms it would use all of it, second generation was 8.3 liters and had over 500 horsepower in srt10 and viper form, i cant remember what the 2003 truck motor made but i want a regular cab 6 speed one, those are very, very, very rare, ive only seen one and ive looked for 4 years. about the length of a cummins, twice as wide and about as tall. those motors werent the most lite weight things either, should came with aluminum viper heads from the factory.
