Do you see what I see?

There is something wrong with this pic. I was searching ebay for something larger and a bit more comfortable then my Jetta and came accross this Suburban Diesel and its very nice except for one thing.

Another one to help.

I don't know whats worse, the fact that it has no air filter or the fact that its a 6.5 turdbo GM diesel? Both are BIG negatives.

The 6.5 is gutless for sure, but it lasts as long as you dont try to get more HP out of it from what I have read.

Engine compartment looks pretty clean. He probably had some sort of open element filter on there, took it off to keep it dry while cleaning the engine bay and forgot to reinstall it before snapping the pics. With that FSD Cooler and the braided line everywhere, I highly doubt it is owned by the type of guy who would run without an air filter.

That would be my guess as well. You don't generally see guys who upgrade to head studs running around with no air filter on a street truck...
