I slept all the way through undisturbed last nigh. That felt soooo goooood. Woke to a gentle purr in my ear and a pair of big green eyes staring at me, get up and feed me. Cats, don't you just love them.

Behave yourself!!! Bad boy. ........................

Seriously, not fun. Once it starts you have to be double careful. Section surgery is the most common remedy, but you only have soooo much before you run out. So, the other option is better - - double careful what you eat and drink a lot of water.

yes, cats are great motivators...lol

I have / had diverticulosis and a diet change and lil exercise for that abdominal area worked wonders, no surgery. four camera peeks but nothing needed after the dietary changes ( chewing up stuff to a pulp, no pumpkin seeds, more water- figure ten percent of your body weight for ounces of water needed per day. 200-10%= 20 ounces water per day)

hey, I like the results. wishing the best for healing for you fly boy fixer.

If you want to get scientific and thorough on the diet issue, look up SCD diet.

I lost part of my colon at 22. I swore never again. It was looking a bit bad again, but I got onto the diet and exercise bandwagon and have no symptoms at all.

Went back into the ER Monday, things weren't going good. They put me in a padded cell and started pumping me full of bug killers. Another CT tomorrow, then they'll decide the how and when. They have to get the infection under control first. Hopefully they can do a minimal resection and send me on my way.

Back home from the hospital. I guess the nurses needed a break. They are letting me recuperate at home for a while before surgery.
