Dish DVR crashes - known SW problem!!
well, the old DVR box was going crazy, rebooting every time you tried to rewind it using the "skip back" button.
it would COMPLETELY reboot, and have to re-acquire the satellite.
so, i gots me a new one sent to my domicile.
guess what?
does same thing!
so i been putting up with it for a while, finally called Dish today, they said, "oh yeah, we know about that, it's a software glitch"
um hum......
it's $5 a month to "rent" this hunk-a junk, and $5 a month for some other ignorant fee.
so i asked, are you still charging me the $10 a month, he says, "oh yeah"
so anyways, he said the Software Engineers drafted a new Rev, and sent it down the pipe.
my question is, why can't they just send out the old Rev?
you know, sounds simple, name the old Rev a greater sequential number,
send to us (since we are sending them $10 month)
and make my DVR work.
does that sound too hard?
