I subscribe and saw the ratings (which I can't post here because of copyright stuff.)

But the BFG long trail t/a was rated dead last. (22 of 22)

Michelein LTX M/S was rated 17 of 22.

Michelin cross-terrain was 19 of 22

Probably ran it up to 55mph, shut the air off, radio off, then the motor off, then there it was! I slight tire tread noise barely audible. Failed.

I don't think CR badmouth's anything. They won't state negatives, just lesser positives.

well the longtrail TA does suck the allterrians and mudterrains are good

and the michellene ltx's aren't very good either IMO

I don't really care what they think. A Michelin LTX is probably the best tire made and I really like my Revos

I had a buddy look up the CR report for me. They rated the Goodyear Fortera HL first and the Pirelli STR A second. I don't think any of the tires tested was load range E. They rated all terrains and all seasons and grouped them together. For CR the all season performed better than the ATs. So as usually take the CR rating with a grain of salt.
