I hate it when this happend...... A deer hit my '95 Ram and did $1800 in damage.... hit one in a Neon and bent a license plate....(it was slow motion watching the deer sail over the top of the Neon.....
I tell ya... life aint fair my friend.... except for it giving you an excuse to put that big freakin bumper on with grill guard/ extra off road lamps / wench....

Same thing just happened to me, almost the same damage , came out to around 3K for me.
Had to replace the bumper w/ a stocker due to how long a aftermarket unit would take
As to the comment about the grille surviving, my insurance adjuster brought up the same thing. Actually didnt believe I even hit a deer since the grille was instact........

Well I just checked out the site, WOW, those bumpers are insane! But so isn't the price at around $1500, but, they look Tough call, I was expecting more like $500.

Might be small for your side of the continent. On this half I would say it was javalina. One of our deer would have been in the grill like the kangaroo that’s floating around the net. Especially at that speed.

Should have my truck back to me minus the new BuckStop ( 7 weeks wait ) by this weekend just in time for our trip to Lake George . Insurance gave me $3920 to fix the truck LoL
Estimate : $3920
BuckStop Bumper : $1800
Cost of BuckStop out of my own pocket : $0
Having a family friend own a auto body shop..........PriceLess

If you want, you can save a little money on the purchase by getting an unpainted heavy duty bumper and then have it coated by Linex. You will end up with a good looking bumper that will not rust or chip for about the same price as a painted one. Have both the front and rear bumpers on my truck done that way. Really maintenance free. Edit - forgot to mention - have it coated before installation and the coating cost will be less and they can cover all surfaces.
