Craftsman riding mower

We have a Craftsman mower with the Kohler v twin engine that keeps blowing the 40 amp main fuse and dieing. Any ideas where the problem might be.
Thanks

Check for the wires for any loose connections and to see if any of the wires are chaffed. Also check the the positions of the key. If you have a rough yard & gets bounced around alot, the key can tempurarally move from possitions. Normally I see it as a loose connection or a chaffing wire.
