The coolest story of the morning - at least I think so...

So anyway, I'm driving my truck to Dunkin Donuts to get a cup of coffee this morning. Their coffee is like crack to me, so I gotta have it. Anyway, when I pull up I see a blue 2500 in front of me, engine off ordering his stuff. It's a CTD and the guy has a TDR sticker on the back of his truck. (Turbo Diesel Register) for any of you who don't know. He sees me pulling in behind him and we wave and smile at each other like "Nice truck!". He pulls up and pays for his stuff and pulls out when I get to the window. I'm hoping to get to talk with him before he drives off but when I finally go to pay, the lady tells me that the man ahead of me had already paid for my coffee, and the one for my wife. I was shocked but not surprised.

I don't know if he thought I was a veteran, a police officer or if he just appreciated another CTD owner but regardless, to whoever you are this morning, thank you. He drove off before I had the opportunity to thank him.

I don't even know if he's on this site. If you are, thank you.

I don't care what site you belong to or what site you are loyal to, we are all brothers in a way when it comes to our enthusiasm for these trucks and for someone to do that, anonymously, after all the bad I have seen in the world, it makes you realize that there are still good people out there.

So to the unknown CTD driver, I salute you!!!

There was a big story about this a few months ago with Starbucks. people would "Pay it backwards" People would rendomly pay for others behind them just to be nice. I did this one time at a fast food drive through. The lady behind me was also in a Dodge truck (gasser) so I though it would be kind of cool to do.

But it also makes me sad. The nearest dunkin donuts is a four hour drive on a good day.

Cool story and thanks for sharing.

I was at a resteurant today for lunch and overheard a waitress saying about a patron stealing one of her tips of 2 dollars. She was fuming as times are kinda hard round my area.

When I left my tip when I was done eating, I just added another 2 dollars to the tip for her.

For what it's worth Jack, You've earned it.

Next time I'm at a store, I'll pass it on for ya.
