I'm Here, I'm Here, I'm Here.........

Ahhhhhh, needed that.

Tuesday will just be a continuation of Mondays thrills & chills.

G-G in the lot again today, Diesel went up 2 cents to $1.83 around my neighborhood.
Bike gets 40+ MPG, costs $6.00 to fill up, the weather is nice, and Wifey has been driving her Company car for the last few days.
Added bonus, riding (even in DC traffic) is a more relaxing commute.

Y'all be safe.
Ed

G-G IN 'DA HOUSE!!!!!

Morning folks.
I think the Beast is begining to develop an inferiority complex.

No rain in the forecast 'til Sunday. (probably just jinxed myself )

Unleaded premium gasoline was $2.06 at last fillup but only takes 3-4 gallons to fill and can go 150-160 miles before re-fill.

More DWI today (starting to look like a pattern Huh?)

Mmmm, Mmmm, Goooooooood!

Ya'll be safe
Ed

Fuel is goin' up again down here. Time to start thinking about mass transit or car pool with the wife, in which case I get to ride shotgun and do this . Not a bad idea.
Hey you Florida folks, goin' to Orlando next week, how's the weather?

Good morning. Monday number 2 here. Just about finished with the 1st pot of coffee. You guys with the antique tractors missed a good show Saturday. Took Christine up to the Buckley Old Engine Show. 200 acres, they shuttle you in on trailers with bus seats behind big farm tractors. All the buildings are decorated like turn-of-the-century. Working grist mill(steam), saw mill (steam), foundry, blacksmith, and other steam fired industrial equipment. Rode on an old train. They had live music, huge, coal and wood fired tractors driving around. Lots of other tractors and trucks on display, and a big flea-market. Glad we got their early. When we left at 3, they were lined up 3 miles in 2 directions to get in. Good time for 5 bucks. Then we stopped at a fish farm and caught a couple rainbows for dinner.

Well, you'll all be glad to know that I'm moving to another "OTHER" building here at work. My managerial skills are required elsewhere. May be on a little less but I'll still be here from time to time.

Gotta go for now, catch ya's later.
Goin' fishin.

Weeelllll........ I guess y'all are having the good weather 'cause we keepin' everything else for ourselves here!
Monday--- measured 10 inches of rain in three hours. Roads flooded, couldnt get home from work 'till the water went down, sheriff wouldnt beleive my 4X4 could make it, two tornadoes passed within a mile of the house, and my arena and barn both have creeks running through them now.
Tuesday-- rained all morning, then thunderstormed all afternoon, 'nother three inches of that wet stuff...
Wenseday-- got kinda sunny, had my hopes up, then BLAM, twister passes within a mile of the house again... nother two inches of rain..
the driveway is washed out, tractor is stuck in the ditch where I tryed to scoop up my gravel this morning....
Geez..... someone give me some asprin and wake me up when that **** bird finds land......

Ouch! It must have broken up a bit and/or calmed down as it moved east, we only got about 6 or 7 inches of rain in KC.

thats all??? geesh, thats hardly enough to get the grass growing

Well its FRIDAY at last and I managed to get the ractor out of the ditch this morning. My ole CTD pulled it right out of there like an old tooth hooked to a door ****. Now I get to fill in the ruts I made in the yard and ditch, and shovel all that gravel back into the driveway by hand...
Working at it slowly, cause the heat index is already 104 and its only 9am. Jest came in for my first cup this morning, and then will get back at it.
Well everyone enjoy their day and have a GREAT weekend!!! suppossed to rain here......again....
