If I may ask, what do you do for a living? I am an Operations Supervisor at a Waste Water Treatment Plant. Until I can convince everyone to stop flushing their toilets after 6pm, I guess we will have to pull night shift...

The technical name for my job is a Power Production Craftsman, in civilian terms that is a underpaid Diesel mechanic that works with electricity (Diesel Generators). So I just sit here waiting for the Power to go out or for one of these CAT'S to break witch is more common than the electrical system failure.

Morning folks,
Mondays
Another wonderful day of DWI. Trying to explain to a bunch of clowns why it's going to cost them $50,000 to replace a mil spec piece of equipment that only cost $18,000 15 years ago.
trying to spend all this end of year money (can't find a stock number on a new 3500 CTD 4x4, yet).
Only 40 working hours till the weekend.

Morning everyone,
Musta been a great weekend ... I am nursing a heck of a sunburn. Found a big leak in one of the pontoon logs and had to put her in drydock for a few days.

But ... the smell of diesel smoke and coffee is in the air so this can't be too bad.

Have fun !!

Mornin' all.

Hey SR, I found out a quick way for me not to have to worry about all that supply stuff and spending the money before the end of the year. The DIVO told me to order any tools the PMS cards called for. One item on one of the radar cards called for "High Performance Jet Aircraft". I found a stock number for an F/A 18 and ordered it. As we were not on a bird farm and there was no place to put it, that did not go over well with the Supply Officer and he revoked my supply privileges for the rest of my time aboard. No more supply log updating or parts ordering for me, woo who.
(Hey, look under "High Performance Diesel Truck" for the nsn to a 3500 4x4)

Busy morning ahead, have a good day all.

~Rob
