Nice Dieseldude4x4. I'd prefer not to be standing to your side when you fire that beast without huge earmuffs.

Yep, it has quite a muzzle blast for sure. Especially with the Cor-Bon 440 grain slugs in the wheel. Has just a tad bit of recoil too.

If it hasn't been listed before, www.packing.org is a great site with lots of info on Concealed Carry laws and other info.

Good point. If you are a new shooter that is a good gun to learn on, the only thing better would be a .22 target pistol like a Ruger Mk. II. New shooters invariably develop a flinch if you start them out on a concealable gun (or a very powerful fill size one). Heck, after a couple mags with my Kel-Tec I develop a flinch.

a couple years ago, they lowered the ccw to 21 yrs old here in Elpaso Count CO. I had my permit a couple weeks later. When I do carry I have a 45 springfield armory ultra compact, but it has a sharp safety and is heavy. I'd like to get a HK 40, or a glock, but I dont like the fact that there is no decock on the glock.

When I carry its a S & W mod. 410 .40 or my Bersa .380 if I need a smaller frame for concealment. Don't carry much. Place I work doesn't allow weapons in the plant and I live close by.
Have had my permit for about 4 years.

I have a Kahr K-9, tritium sights, satin nickel finish. Like this, but with a sligtly different finish:

Nice, but for some reason I don't shoot as well with it as with my SW SW9VE poly frame. Also, something slightly lighter would be nice. I have my eye on the Kahr PM40, but at $750 its a little expensive right now. I have bombs to buy!

No, I don't believe that. Did you flinch when you dropped the hammer on that S&W 500 of mine?

When I started, I flinched when firing also. Well, maybe not flinched, but it would go lower and to the right when I fired, then where I aimed. I figured out it was the way I was gripping the weapon, and put too much side force while firing. I can now honestly say I put them all on a 1" bullseye at 25 yards with about 150 rounds of rangetime. I told my girlfriend yesterday I bought a gun, and she asked to see it. Well, we're going to the range in about 10 minutes, she can't wait to shoot it

I still love seeing her drive my ctd, something about a 4'11 100lb girl in an huge truck makes me

I have several toys that are not for public scrutiny strategically placed throughout my house. I would be an idiot to post these online in any forum.

I only carry a concealed weapon 3 days a week......guess which 3........feel lucky?
